SSL Encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods (e.g., SSL) corresponding to the current state of the art via HTTPS.

Comment Function

When users leave comments on our website, not only these comments but also the time of their creation and the username chosen by the website visitor are stored. This serves our security, as we can be held liable for illegal content on our website, even if it was created by users.

Newsletter

Based on your expressly given consent, we regularly send you our newsletter or similar information via email to the email address you provided.

Providing your email address is sufficient to receive the newsletter. When registering to receive our newsletter, the data you provided will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by email about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (for example, changes to the newsletter offer or technical conditions).

For effective registration, we require a valid email address. To verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an email address, we use the "double opt-in" procedure. For this purpose, we log the order of the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email, and the receipt of the requested response. No further data is collected. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter contains a corresponding link for this purpose. Additionally, you can also unsubscribe directly on this website at any time or inform us of your corresponding request using the contact information provided at the end of this privacy policy.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

The purposes of data processing are to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. Based on the use of the website and the internet, further related services are then to be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the features of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking on this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device, which will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data for this website and this browser in the future, as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)

To display our content correctly and visually appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or blocks access, content will be displayed in a default font.

Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically establishes a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible – but currently unclear whether and for what purposes – that operators of such libraries collect data.

You can find the privacy policy of the library operator Google here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data about the use of the map functions by visitors. For more information about data processing by Google, please refer to Google's privacy notices. There, you can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy center.

Detailed instructions for managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Social Plugins

Social plugins from the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognize the plugins by the corresponding logo.

Through these plugins, information, which may also include personal data, may be sent to the service provider and possibly used by them. We prevent the unconscious and unintended collection and transmission of data to the service provider through a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding switch. Only by activating the plugin does the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider occur. We do not collect any personal data through the social plugins or by using them ourselves.

We have no control over which data an activated plugin collects and how it is used by the provider. Currently, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider's services is established and at least the IP address and device-related information are collected and used. It is also possible that the service providers attempt to store cookies on the computer being used. Please refer to the privacy notices of the respective service provider for specific data collected and how it is used. Note: If you are logged into Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a specific page.

Change of our data protection regulations

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always meets the current legal requirements or to implement changes in our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration then applies to your renewed visit.
